Global Game Jam 2020 in Stuttgart

_Who can participate?
Anyone who is 18+ years old and interested in making games (computer games, board games or other). No skills required, but recommended.

_ How can I register for participation?
If you would like to attend, please register at Meetup and also at:

_Is there a limited number of participants?
Yes, up to 70 people can participate.

_When should I come?
The check-in on Friday, 31st starts at 15:00. Please make sure you are there by 17:00 for the official kick-off and keynote.

_What should I bring?
Please bring any hardware and tools you are going to use, and make sure you install big software packages before the event. Also, a toothbrush and sleeping bag might be a good idea, in case you want to stay overnight.

_What about food and drinks?
We will provide meals and various beverages throughout the weekend. There are also many possibilities to fetch stuff from the nearby shopping center.

_Is there an admission fee?
Yes, it’s 10€ per person. We want to provide you the best experience possible and we hope this is an affordable way to support us.

_Why the admission fee?
We organize the GGJ 2020 in our spare time.

_Will this jam be documented?
Yes. We would like to point out that filming and photography will take place during the event. With your participation, you agree that photos and films on which you are depicted can be published!

_I don’t speak German. Can I participate?
Of course. We’re happy to have anyone participating, regardless of your origin. That’s why the information here is in English.

_Can I stop by and watch?
There will be a guided tour for non-participants on Saturday at 6 pm.
