International Conference: Redesign your City – engaging creative potentials for innovation

We are very pleased to invite you to the International Conference “Redesign your City – engaging creative potentials for innovation”, taking place in a virtual format on November 23, 10am-1pm. How can cities and regions tackle today’s challenges and make the local economy stronger and life for citizens more liveable? This is a question the Interreg project CINEMA (Creative Industries for New Urban Economies in the Danube Region) has been working on for the last two years and now it is time to share and discuss experiences.

Thankfully we have some experts with us: Charles Landry, renowned City Scientist, will give a keynote about how creative abilities and potentials of a city can serve as an engine for innovation and prosperity; Roland Murauer, CIMA, presents his trends in urban regeneration; Bahanur Nasya, Eutropian, talks about what a sustainable and future proof development concept for a city could look like; and Mihai Ionita, UrbanizeHub, will focus on creativity as a driving force of intelligent cities. These contents will be worked on together with the audience in order to expand the knowledge and innovation potential even further. Of course, the CINEMA partnership will proudly present its own project results and realised concepts and hopes to inspire the targeted audience of creatives, policy makers, urban developers, municipal governments etc. even further.
